By accessing or using CertifiedInstaller.co.uk (“the Site”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. The date at the bottom of this page shows when the terms were last updated.

CertifiedInstaller.co.uk is an online directory that lists EV charger installers who appear on the government's Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) approved installer register, along with other certified tradespeople in the renewable energy sector.

We provide a platform for homeowners and businesses to find, compare, and contact installers. We are not a party to any contract, transaction, or arrangement between you and any installer found through this Site.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure installer listings are accurate at the time of publication. Installer data is sourced primarily from the publicly available OZEV approved installer list and from information provided directly by installers.

We do not guarantee that any installer listed is currently trading, insured, or in good standing. We accept no liability for any inaccuracy in listing data.

Inclusion in this directory is not an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of the quality, safety, or suitability of any installer or their work. Featured and Expert listings are paid placements — their prominence in search results reflects a commercial arrangement, not an editorial quality judgement. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before hiring any installer.

When you submit an enquiry through the Site, your contact details are forwarded to the installer you have selected. By submitting an enquiry you:

• Consent to your data being shared with that installer for the purpose of responding to your enquiry.
• Acknowledge that we are not responsible for the installer's response time, quality of service, or any outcome of your engagement with them.
• Confirm that the information you provide is accurate and not misleading.

Installers who create accounts and claim or manage listings on this Site agree to:

• Provide accurate, up-to-date information about their business and accreditations.
• Notify us promptly if any accreditation lapses, is suspended, or changes.
• Not use their listing to make false, misleading, or defamatory claims.
• Respond to consumer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Comply with all applicable laws, including consumer protection and data protection legislation.

We reserve the right to remove or suspend any listing, without notice, where we believe these obligations have been breached or where a listing may mislead consumers.

Featured and Expert listing tiers are paid subscriptions processed via Stripe. By subscribing:

• You authorise us to charge the applicable monthly fee to your payment method.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. If you do not accept a price change, you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect.

You must not:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from this Site without prior written permission.
• Submit false enquiries or impersonate another person.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data.
• Use the Site to send unsolicited commercial communications to installers.
• Post or transmit harmful, defamatory, or illegal content through any feature of the Site.
• Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its availability.

All content on this Site — including editorial articles, design, code, and copy — is owned by or licensed to CertifiedInstaller.co.uk. Installer data sourced from the OZEV register is Crown copyright. You may not reproduce or republish our editorial content without written permission. Installer business information (name, address, accreditations) may be quoted for personal reference purposes only.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We provide the Site “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Site or reliance on any information it contains.
• We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or workmanship of any installer found through this Site.
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by English law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
